What RevServe is
A specialist search practice. Not a full-service agency, not a lead broker, not a software platform. We make home service companies visible in the three places homeowners now look for help — Google results, the Maps pack, and AI answers from tools like ChatGPT and Gemini — and we measure that visibility in calls and booked jobs rather than dashboards.
The Three Surfaces method
Every engagement is organized around the three places a homeowner's search can end: Search (classic Google rankings for the queries that precede a purchase), Maps (the local pack, where "near me" and emergency searches are decided), and Answers (ChatGPT, Gemini, and AI Overviews, which name a handful of companies instead of showing ten links). The surfaces feed each other — AI systems lean on the same signals that drive rankings and Maps — so we work them as one program, and measure each one separately: rankings you can verify, Maps presence you can see, and AI mentions scored with the public 25-prompt audit. Each service page describes the work on its surface in plain terms.
What we believe
Specialization beats generalism
An agency that markets dentists on Monday and SaaS startups on Tuesday is starting from a template when it gets to your roofing company on Wednesday. The trades we work in have their own query patterns, their own seasonality, their own emergency-versus-research split — and knowing those cold is worth more than any generic playbook. The narrow focus is the product.
Measurement should be repeatable
A number you can't reproduce is an anecdote. Our AI visibility audit uses the same 25 prompts, the same method, every quarter — so when the score moves, it moved. The same discipline applies to everything else we report: calls you can count in your own log, rankings you can check in an incognito window, Maps presence you can see from your own driveway.
The AI hype deserves honesty
AI search is real and it is changing how homeowners choose contractors — and most of what's written about it oversells the traffic. Assistants make shortlists; they don't send floods of clicks. Being one of three companies ChatGPT names is genuinely valuable, and it is a different value than a page-one ranking. We say which is which instead of blending them into a pitch.
The work belongs to the client
Your site, your content, your Google Business Profile, your review history — everything built during an engagement stays yours if we part ways. Agencies that own the assets own the client. We'd rather be kept because the numbers hold up.
Why only five trades
Depth over breadth. A burst pipe, a dead AC in July, a hail-damaged roof, a panel upgrade, and a snapped garage door spring produce different searches, on different surfaces, with different urgency — and the right strategy for each starts from that behavior, not from a template with the logo swapped. Five trades is the number we can know deeply enough that the first month of an engagement isn't spent learning your industry on your invoice. If your business isn't one of the five, we'll say so rather than stretch.
Why our methodology is public
The full 25-prompt AI visibility audit — the prompts, the scoring, the method — is published free in our ChatGPT visibility guide. That's deliberate. Measurement you can't replicate is marketing, not measurement: if we're the only ones who can produce the number, the number is worth nothing. Run the baseline yourself before you talk to us, keep it, and hold us — or whoever you hire — to it.
The standards worth holding any vendor to
- Everything-packages dilute the craft. Social media management, logo design, and billboard buys bundled in to pad a search retainer are a sign the search work is the afterthought. Visibility is a full-time specialty on its own.
- Lead reselling is a trap. The calls should come from your site and your profile and be yours alone — a shared list sold to three of your competitors isn't marketing, it's an auction you're bidding in blind.
- Lock-in is a red flag. If leaving a vendor means losing the site, the content, or the profiles, the retainer isn't buying you assets — it's renting them to you. The pricing page has the full question list.
- Working both sides of a market is a conflict. Local search is zero-sum; an agency representing two roofers in the same city is lying to one of them. Ask who else they serve in your area.
Whoever you measure against those standards — us included — start with evidence: run the free 25-prompt audit on your own company and let the baseline numbers tell you whether you have a visibility problem worth solving.
